Look How We Grew: 2024 at Union Village Ohio

Colorful and architecturally interesting streetscapes are punctuated by large front porches throughout our growing neighborhood. Union Village Ohio comprises 49 single family homes and 12 townhomes constructed by a dozen of the region’s top custom homebuilders.

New houseplans were added in 2024, including The Nantucket, The Cardiff and The Alloway. Seven new townhomes were also completed this year.

A key feature of our village is high-quality destinations in walking distance to these new homes. In fact, the neighborhood is based on an award-winning, new urbanism master plan. Here are some of the amenities added to the neighborhood this year.

Dogs Get a Destination at Union Village Ohio

Dog people live here. In fact, we carved out a special corner of the neighborhood for our four-legged friends! The Union Village Dog Park is a half-acre enclosure complete with benches and maple trees. It’s just a short trek from our homes, along a gravel path beyond the fishing pond. We enjoyed meeting up for a few “yappy hour” get-togethers this summer.

In addition to the dog park, our neighborhood also has a large village green called Union Village Square where we gather for live music during the warmer months. There are also seven “pocket parks” throughout the neighborhood that provide places to meetup or enjoy the outdoors.

A Brand-New Bistro Finds a Home at Union Village

A family-owned restaurant took occupancy at Union Village and will open in early 2025. Troni’s Italian Bistro will serve Italian fare and have a full bar inside the Center Building at 3855 Lower Market Street. The restaurant will occupy 2,410 square feet overlooking Union Village Square.

“I’m excited to be the first restaurant at Union Village, where people can enjoy amazing Italian dishes,” said Nick Troni. “The menu will include original recipes from Troni’s and my own personal recipes that I have mastered during 20 years working in the food industry.”

Wawa Chooses Union Village for Convenience Store Site

Wawa, a popular brand of convenience stores and gas stations, has selected Union Village as one of its new sites for 2025. Wawa is a fan favorite for its cleanliness, a huge coffee selection, and fresh-prepared foods including wraps and sandwiches. The Wawa store will be located just outside the neighborhood at the southern corner of Ohio 741 and Ohio 63.
