Family Fun: Summer Music and Activities Near Union Village

Pack a Picnic for the Park 

Warren County Armco Park offers 311-acres to explore, and this park is within walking distance of Union Village! Spread a blanket with sandwiches or utilize the picnic tables and grills. Amenities at Armco Park include a lake for fishing and boating; tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts; horse shoe and gaga pits; corn hole; and numerous playground areas. You can even rent equipment while you are there. 

Enjoy Live Music Every Third and Fourth Friday

Union Village Square will come alive the fourth Friday of each month for Music on Market Street! Our lineup starts with Donna Kennedy Band June 28. You’re also invited to subscribe to neighborhood news to find out about more events like these as they’re added.

Nearby in charming Lebanon, Ohio, the Country Music Festival is June 7 and 8. There is also a recurring  3rd Friday on Mulberry Street Concert Series with lots to see, do and hear! The 2024 series starts with The Menus June 21. 

Stroll to Warren County Sports Park 

The awesome amenities at Warren County Sports Park at Union Village are getting lots of play including youth championship baseball, softball and elite soccer tournaments. The west end of this state-of-the-art destination facility includes a playground and walking trails. 

During the weekends, the fields heat up with tournament games. A schedule and more information is available on the sports park website. 

Peruse the Local Farmers Market  

Locally grown produce, baked goods, flowers, honey, jam, meat and other artisan items can be discovered weekly at the Lebanon Farmers Market! Growers and makers gather Thursdays, 3 to 7 p.m. at  Bicentennial Park in downtown Lebanon Ohio. The Market is set up weekly from mid-May through mid-October.
