Plan a Picnic

Warren County Armco Park is a perfect place to have a picnic or two this summer. The 311-acre park is within walking distance of Union Village, has picnic tables and grills to use, and so much more to enjoy. There’s a lake for fishing and boating; tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts; horse shoe and gaga pits; corn hole; and numerous playground areas to enjoy. (They even rent recreational equipment so you don’t have to lug it all there and back home.)

Visit a Winery

Have a fun evening out any day of the week at Valley Vineyards. A winery, brewery, and restaurant all-in-one, it’s a favorite place for “off-beat fine dining,” live music and other fun events like trivia games, and stand-up comedy. And you’ll definitely want to experience their weekly cookout – it’s not your standard hamburger and hotdog cookout.

Explore the Outdoors

Plan a day or camping trip to Caesar Creek State Park. You can go boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or just enjoy the peace and beauty of it all.

Explore the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Tackle the 78-mile trail section by section throughout the summer, visiting different places along the route like John Bryan and Caesar Creek state parks, the Xenia Station, and the Ft. Ancient State Historic Site.
