IN THE NEWS: Warren County Will Widen Ohio 63

Warren County commissioners have committed as much as $10 million to widen Ohio 63, according to the Dayton Daily News. The project will make it easy to access Interstate 75 from Union Village by widening the 2.5-mile section from Ohio 741 to the Miami Valley Gaming casino.

Separately, Union Village is undertaking road improvements. Crews are adding turn lanes on Ohio 741 to access Union Village and a right turn on Ohio 63 to access Ohio 741 south. Weather permitting, the roadwork will be completed in September.

The first phase of home construction at Union Village, a unique new urban development, will begin later in 2019. When completed, the walkable community will include single-family homes, apartments, townhomes, restaurants, retail, and offices.
