IN THE NEWS: Union Village Featured on Move Up Cincinnati, WCPO TV

Union Village was featured in a series called Move Up Cincinnati, which airs on WCPO and profiles the region’s most important development and transportation projects. Reporter Lisa Smith highlighted the growing number of intergenerational households, and how builders are responding to the need to accommodate multiple adult generations, sometimes under the same roof.

Homes within Union Village will have features that may attract intergenerational families, such as a detached garage with an apartment. The neighborhood itself is also intergenerational. A growing family can live within walking distance of grandparents, for example, because of housing diversity.

"You may have apartments, town homes, single family homes, all on one street," Union Village Developer Bob Turner told WCPO Reporter Lisa Smith.
