Union Village Developers Build the Perfect Place to Grow Up

Union Village is designed to provide all people the perfect place to call home. For the youngest future residents, that means walkable access to parks and playgrounds as well as their friends and family.

Ahead of new home construction, a playground and a large stage for musical performances and other entertainment are already under construction.

"The parks and amenities already in place will provide a move-in ready environment for our future residents," said Union Village Project Manager Matt Obringer. "As we grow, additional pocket parks, courtyards, and boulevards will be located throughout the community and will be accessible within a short walk."

The Charter of the New Urbanism includes several family-friendly principles in addition to walkability to most daily destinations. According to the Charter, new urbanist communities should be designed so they are safe for people to walk or bike. There should also be a broad range of housing types and price points, contributing to a diversity of people interacting on a daily basis.
