Update: Progress on Townhomes, Businesses, and Homearama
The Townes are Almost Complete
The Townes, seven luxury townhomes located just one block from Union Village Square, are almost complete. Project Manager Matt Obringer said prospective buyers can choose colors and finishes and move in within 90 days. Simms Development has constructed the townhomes, which offer an urban lifestyle and low maintenance.
Businesses Plan to Move In at Union Village Square
“The Square is really the heart of Union Village,” Obringer said. “That’s where shops, restaurants, the park and the playground is.”
LCNB National Bank, Premier Health and an independent restaurant all plan to open for business this summer. Meanwhile, Union Village developers continue to explore other retail and commercial opportunities for the Square.
Dayton Homearama Coming to Union Village in October
Homebuilders are preparing to break ground on three new homes, adding to an inventory of 13 homes that are already complete or under construction. Union Village Realty is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Dayton recently announced that Union Village will be the site of Dayton Homearama Oct. 1 to 17, 2021. It’s the first time since 2012 that Homearama has taken place at a single site.
