New Urbanist Lifestyle Featured in Wall Street Journal
The idea of the “dream home” is changing as new urbanist developments, like Union Village, offer amenities not available in suburbs. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal (subscription required) explained the appeal of new urbanist communities.
“If you grab coffee at the coffee spot downtown, there’s a palpable sense of community,” a homebuyer is quoted as saying.
Millennial homebuyers, in particular, are interested less in square footage and more on walkable access to daily destinations where they can socialize, shop and more.
Construction on the first phase of Union Village homes began in January 2020. The unique community in Warren County, Ohio is expected to offer 30 new homes this year in addition to the Union Building, which is designed to provide space for a restaurant, bank and corporate offices.
Interested homebuyers should complete a brief questionnaire to receive more information from Union Village Realty Company.
