Principles of New Urbanism: Mixed-Use & Diversity
There are many mixed-use developments in southwest Ohio, but what makes Union Village different is the presence of multiple uses within blocks and even within the same buildings.
For example, a planned commercial building at Union Village with more than 20,000 square feet of space may house offices, retail shops, restaurants and residences. There will also be a mix of shops and offices throughout Union Village, within walking distance of apartments and single-family homes. Construction will begin in summer of 2019.
This community design lends to a diversity of people, including ages, income levels, cultures, and races. This is just one of 10 Principles of New Urbanism being implemented at Union Village. Click here to learn more.
