A New Kind of Community Coming to Southwest Ohio in 2019
In 2019, the first 30 homes are expected to be built in Union Village, a planned community unlike any in southwest Ohio.
The development of 1,230 acres in Warren County is built on new urban planning principles, including efficient land use, a combination of recreation, residential and commercial spaces, promotion of alternative transportation, and a clear “sense of place” that builds on the site’s natural characteristics and historical architectural significance.
Site development began in July 2018 and new home construction will begin late summer 2019. The project is anticipated to build out in 40 to 50 years. The development will encompass a Main Village and several smaller Villages all which will be walkable for the many residents living there. The master plan also includes a 200-acre greenway system of meadows, woodland parks and pathways to connect Union Village to nearby Armco Park and the new Warren County Sports Park. More than 25 percent of the development will be green space.
Union Village Development Company was founded in late 2015 as a wholly owned for profit subsidiary of Otterbein Homes. New Urban Development Partners, LLC, renown for award-winning New Urban Projects will manage the development of Union Village.
